5 Simple Ways to Style a Blazer
A good blazer is my favorite piece in a closet during any season or occasion. We have simplified the Blazer look from tailored and professional to be worn with shorts. A simple blazer can be styled in so many different ways!
Now with no further due, I really hope everyone has at least one blazer in their closet. The blazer does not need to be expensive or designer. Amazing options can be found at your local mall browsing through Express, Zara & HM.
With Jeans
This may seem out of the blue, but my favorite way to pair a blazer is with mom jeans. This is a comfortable & casual look that you can wear a Friday to work or simply to a coffee shop as I do. You can also style this up with a pretty belt, heels or some bling to spice it up.
With trousers
Yea I know, this is the obvious option right. But I love experimenting with my Blazers depending on the cut with different pants. I have worn flowy trousers, fitted trousers and so on.
With a skirt
Who says skirts are boring? You can use that female suit look to your advantage and style. Put on a fedora and rock the look, especially mismatching suit items and oversized blazers. This is also one of my favorite ways to style a turtle neck by the way.
With sweatpants
I did not honestly think this was ever an option until being quarantined made it an option. I absolutely love the look of a blazer with sweatpants. I actually enjoy monochromatic looks so I wore all white and a color blazer or all black and a patterned blazer.
With shorts
When you live in a hot location like me and do not need to go into work but want the blazer look for fun, shorts are the top option. I actually have been wearing my oversized blazer with shorts since it makes it look like a blazer dress.
I hope this removed the tension that we internally have with wearing and styling a blazer.
